LSE Ladder League

You can join the Pool Ladder at any time (although you must be a paying member), if you want to be added please email Lee.

Rules

1. All games to be played to World Rules
2. Challenger emails anyone up to 2 rows above them (for challenges in the top 3 rows however, you may only challenge a player in the row above)
3. If the challenger wins, he/she will swap places with the challengee. Results to be emailed to Lee Mager.
4 . Once the challenger makes the challenge, the challengee must respond within 3 days and the game must be played within 7 days - if this does not happen, the challenger gets a walkover (5-4 victory). Claims for walkover to be sent, with email evidence, to Lee
5. The Challengee (higher ranked player) sets the venue and the match length. Matches over the top 4 rows must be at least best of 9. Below the 4th row, it's completely at the discretion of the challengee.
6. You can still play friendly matches if someone is either on the same row as you or more than 2 rows apart - in fact this is strongly encouraged. These games won't affect the rankings but they will nonetheless be reflected in the table.
7. The rankings in this ladder will be key to deciding teams for Yarmouth in February. In addition, I'm especially going to look out for people with a high frame % stat - since team pool is based on the 1-frame format, we need people who do whatever it takes to win every single frame :) A weighted algorithm will be used that multiplies your frame % stat depending on which row your opponent is on at the time of the match. I will then add an additional column to the table which will show this weighted score, which will be far more reflective of ability and moreover will encourage people to challenge those higher up - as you can see from the multiplier effect, it really, really rewards frames won against higher ranked opponents, even if you lose the game :-) In fact beating a 7th row player 5-1 is a full 65 points less than losing 7-3 to a 2nd row player.

Ladishes!

If at any time during a ladder game you a) dish off the break, or b) you dish off your opponent's dry break, it will be counted in the Ladishes High Score table. No other clearances count!
