Thanks
firstly to the Cambridge guys for being such
great hosts and giving us our first experience of a
competitive team match. We look forward to a
re-match at JFKs :)
Despite our
general noob status to competitive pool,
we put on a very strong performance, especially the
first team who pushed Cambridge to only a 3-frame
victory margin. Considering that all of their first team
have several years' World Rules experience, and
considering the Cambridge 1st team got to the
National semi-final in 2008, this bodes extremely well
for LSE's prospects at BUCS this year, and the future
of LSE pool more generally.
Highlight of
the day was Chris Gully's break and dish
against Graham, who barely had time to chalk his cue
before the frame was over :)
